The Exchange aims to empower everyday people to invest in local businesses within their community by connecting investors with small businesses in Baltimore that are seeking capital. This is part of a broader movement to create an inclusive finance ecosystem for small businesses, particularly those that are prosocial - caring about their impact on people and the planet as much as profits.
